Learner characteristics
The concept of learner characteristic is used in the sciences
of learning which is defined by several aspects such as personal, academic,
social, or cognitive self that may affect now and what they learn. Personal
characteristics are about age, gender, and maturation. Academic characteristic
are more dominant in learning goals, prior knowledge, and educational type.
Moreover, social characteristics relate to the group or individual with respect
to the group.
Linguistic factors
Linguistic factors in learning are normally
subsumed within the field of educational linguistics. This field encompasses
research into multilingualism; language situations and policies including
medium of instructions; how linguistic practices and factors can guide
effective pedagogy; and classroom discourse analysis for effective teaching and
learning. Linguistic factors in learning also include more current approaches
in relation to linguistics variables and learning (dis)abilities.
Learning processes
Learning processes will be successful when some aspects are
completed namely how to deliver the material well, so we need to prepare the
learning strategy as effective as possible. Therefore, we also need to take a
good place. It means that all of participants of learning processes feel
comfortable and they have more spirit to learn. The last aspects which will
make learning processes successful is about the equipment. When we have all of
the equipment that is needed, the learning processes will be successful
