Cooperative learning techniques
Some cooperative techniques are
1. Three Step Interview
The purposes of this technique are:
a.       To help the learners get to know each other.
b.      To find out about learners’ previous experience with teaching and groups
The procedures are:
a.       Forming groups
A group consists of four people who might have not known or met before. Each person has an letter A, B, C, D
b.      Three step interview
Person A interview person B, person C interview person D. When finished they move to another roles: person B interview person A, person D interview person C. The time limit is 10 minutes.
 When the interviews are completed, each person can share about the person they interviewed with different person for example, person A tell person D and C about person B.
c.       Introduction within the class
If the time is enough, each person tells a whole class about one person in their groups. For example person A tells what they learned from person C about person D.

2. Jigsaw
 Each group consist of 4 people A, B, C, D. Each person receive section to read the handout. Each person leaves their team to form another team with the person who have same letter. A with A, B with B, etc. In this new team, they learn what the handout about. When they finished, they return to their  home team. Then, starts from person A teach to his or her friend what the handout about. They must teach not read.

3. one stay, two stray
The group consist of 3 person does a task. One person stay in their team, while the other two stray to find out what other groups have. After they finish, they return to their team and tell what they observed

4. Write pair share
A whole class read and discusses a text. Then, each person works alone to write the text about. After that, they create a pair and discuss what they have written.
